An external auditor recently summarized the Fulton City School District audit findings which were then relayed to the Board of Education at Tuesday’s (Oct 25) regular meeting. The audit showed that the revenues of the district exceeded the expenditures for the 2015-16 school budget, resulting in an operational surplus just over $518,000 allowing school officials to replenish district’s reserves and fund balances.

The Fulton Board of Education was honored during School Board Recognition Week which is observed each year by more than 700 school districts throughout New York State, according to a resolution passed at Tuesday’s regular meeting. Superintendent Pulvino took a moment to also recognize another group of professionals within the district, school principals.

State Police charged Justin J. Montana, 31 of Minetto, with Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors today (Oct. 25). Troopers charged Montana with two counts of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, a class C felony, and one count of Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor 1st degree, a class D felony, following an investigation.
