State Police have charged Sean M. Fitzgerald, 31, of Baldwinsville, with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. On May 3, at approximately noon, State Police responded to Minetto Elementary School for a report of an incident involving a second grade student.
At 5:45 p.m. Tuesday (May 3), Adam M. Wheeler, 20, of 106 Leitch St., Fulton, was arrested for first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors, a class D felony; promoting sexual performance by a child, a class D felony; and use of a child in a sexual performance, a class E felony.

The five candidates running for a seat on the Oswego City School District’s board of education faced a variety of questions Tuesday night. Fran Hoefer, James Bell, Bill Meyer and Aimee Callen were joined in the OHS theater by current board president Kathleen Allen who is running as a write-in candidate.
Children in grades K – 6 and runners of all ages are invited to run in the inaugural Julian Ross Memorial Shamrock Run on May 14. Start and finish are at the Kingsford Park Elementary School. All proceeds from the event will go the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The race is being held on what would have been Julian’s eleventh birthday.

On Friday, July 29, one of the premier free-admission music festivals in the country continues with a special appearance by one of the founding members of iconic rock band Styx. Dennis DeYoung will take the NRG Lakeview Stage at 10 p.m. on Friday, with a performance brought to Harborfest in part by Eagle Beverage-Budweiser.
On May 2 State Police stopped a vehicle in Schroeppel for a traffic violation. Investigation at the scene revealed the operator, John F. Doyle, 40, and passenger, Tanya L. Doyle, 35, both of Pennellville, were both in violation of valid stay-away orders of protection between them.
