Don’t Mess With Social Security & Medicare

No matter the color of your skin, your gender, or the logo on your hat, one of the most common regrets people have when they are on their deathbed is that they worked too much. We question if the sacrifices to our health and relationships were worth it. One day we’ll come to a point when we take off our work shoes for the very last time. Thankfully we have Social Security and Medicare there for us when we no longer do paid work or have employer sponsored healthcare.

The NYS Cancer Services Program Saves Lives

Cancer screening can save lives. It can find cancer early when treatment works best, and screening for cervical and colorectal cancer can also stop cancer from starting. In the last year, the CSP served over 23,000 people across the State, providing screening and follow-up tests, referral to treatment, and client support through case management services.

Programs that help communities and organizations to implement policies and environmental changes to lower the risk for cancer can make a difference.
