I have heard that expression (No Brainer) many times referring to resolutions requesting actions by the legislative body. Today I was able to be present when three No Brainers were presented to the EDP committee. I will try to make this as short and humorless as possible.

On Thursday 6/13/2019 your Oswego County Legislative body passed another resolution authorizing the building of a ten-plane hanger at the Oswego County Airport. So, 54,000 taxpayers pay so 56 Oswego County residents can park their planes at the airport.

On behalf of the Oswego Lions Club and the River’s Edge Craft Show Committee, we would like to thank all of the vendors and those people that came out to support our club by attending the craft show on June 9!

When I found out on March 28 that Mayor Ron Woodward was not seeking re-election, I went to see him. His reasons are his business. I just wanted him to know I always respected him and would support him.

At the May full legislative meeting the Majority Caucus passed a resolution asking the State to amend State law 3 regarding the Residency Requirement for Hiring Road Patrol, Corrections Officers, and S.R.O.
This if passed at the State level will open up the Test for all other Counties residents to apply and receive a job in Oswego County.

Recently many have read in the media how the city of Fulton Common Council voted to drain Sharps Pond at Rowlee Beach.

The Friends of the Oswego Library respectfully asks the citizens ofthe Oswego City School District to support the Oswego S.D. Public Library by visiting their polling locations on May 21 and voting yes for the library budget.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!Everyone I’m sure has heard this phrase, but that isn’t true in the Oswego County Legislature Chambers. At a Legislative meeting in February a motion was made on the Legislative floor, the motion was seconded and voted on.
