Local Elections vs. Presidential Elections

Many voters feel that the most important and only elections that they should vote in are the Presidential Elections. They are so wrong. Local elections are the most important elections that the local voters should vote in. Local elections control your local spending. Local elections elect local elected officials.

Fulton Board Of Education Celebrates Graduation Rate Improvement

I am writing this letter on behalf of the Fulton City School District Board of Education to make certain that our community is aware of our school district’s latest graduation rate of 84% (for the Class of 2017). This data point is cause for celebration for the board and the staff of the Fulton City School District, and it is an accomplishment resulting from the shared commitment of recent boards of education and all of our staff to our mission statement.

Fresh Air Fund Director Thanks Volunteer Families

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize our extraordinary Fresh Air volunteers, host families, and supporters in the New York Lakes region. Fresh Air host families open their hearts and homes, and offer a child an opportunity to see the world through a new lens. In turn, our host families tell us how much they learn and gain from the children they host. Many children return summer after summer and develop lifelong friendships with their host families.

Their Purposes Fulfilled, The MSGW Foundation and Wilcox Mosquito Foundation Are Dissolved

We come to you today with so much love and appreciation for all of the strength and support that you have given us over the last six years; since the death of our beloved and dearly missed, Maggie Sue Wilcox. The MSGW Foundation and The Wilcox Mosquito Foundation (as well as our email and Facebook accounts) will now be dissolved and deactivated.

We have all heard about this I’m sure. We have all heard or read how our neighbor, the city of Oswego, has received money, lots of it, to accomplish its plan. Here in our city of Fulton, we have a group assembled to try and accomplish the same thing. They have tried once before and now they are trying again. I applaud them for their effort.

Fibromyalgia And The Pain Of Living With It

Hello, my name is Mary L Horner and I am writing this letter in hopes that it will reach hearts and minds all across America – and I need your help to do this. I want, no, I need people to understand that there are many whom are suffering from chronic illnesses such as lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, Crohns … and there are thousands of us suffering in daily silence with the painful syndrome called fibromyalgia. It seems that no one is able to understand the chronic pain it causes as well as the strain it has put on people’s lives and families.
