Thank You From the Athletic Boosters

On behalf of the Fulton Athletic Boosters, i would like to give a huge thanks to members of the Fulton Lions Club, the Fulton Police Department. (and their wives), and members of the Fulton Fire Department for helping us once again in our concession stand during football games! Without their assistance we would not have been able to work as smoothly and successfully as we were able to, and we appreciate the time they volunteered to help us.

Thank You For Supporting The Salvation Army

The Corps officers, captains Heather Odom and Wendy Senior, and members of the Advisory Board of the Oswego County Salvation Army offer their sincere thanks to several Oswego restaurateurs, members of Zonta, and members of the public for their generous support of the Guest Chef Dinners of 2017. Re-Elect George Ritchie And This Is Why

I have had the pleasure of working alongside George Ritchie, Hannibal Highway Superintendent, for the past two years as a councilman and as the liaison between the Highway department and the town board. A Letter To Oswego County Voters

My name is Kevin Cook and I am asking for your vote for my grandfather, Bob Hayes, for County Legislator. I’m not asking for your consideration because Bob is a family member, but rather, because After a 30-year career with Sears & Roebuck, Bob retired and began working for the county as the first-ever Director of 911. Since leaving that position, Bob has been a dedicated civil servant of Oswego County for nine years and will continue doing great work for you, if he’s re-elected.

Correcting ‘Holliday’s Lies’

I received Mark Holliday’s, nee Aldasch, pamphlet the other day and noticed some lies right off the bat. He starts out saying because the City of Fulton is considered “moderately fiscally stressed” we are bankrupt. That’s a lie. The city is not bankrupt. The fact is we improved our fiscal condition last year over the previous year.

Can We Make Fulton’s Downtown More Attractive As A Destination For Residents, Visitors?

While I enjoyed shopping at this year’s farmers’ market at its new location at Bullhead Point and talking with the vendors and meeting friends, I miss the attraction of the market downtown.
The market is more than a store; it’s a place for the community to come together. In a way it’s a community wide social event.

Managing Future Harmful Algal Blooms in Lake Neatahwanta

HABs occur when algae populations explode due to favorable environmental conditions: high sunlight and nutrient levels, and warm temperatures. Currently, the city of Fulton is conducting a dredging project to remove excess nutrients trapped in the sediments. However, are we doing enough to proactively protect our water resources from future HABs?
