Oswego County Opportunities Cancer Services Program of Oswego County applauds the recent legislation passed by New York State designed to help more women access breast cancer screening. The legislation includes the elimination of patient cost sharing for screening mammograms and requires hospitals and clinics to expand their screening hours.
Improving a company’s overall public image can begin with adopting a tobacco-free policy for worksite grounds. Growing evidence suggests that secondhand smoke can be just as harmful outdoors as it is indoors. Creating a tobacco-free policy will protect the health of both employees and visitors, in addition to reducing tobacco litter.
The results from the survey to dissolve the city of Fulton are in from the east side of Fulton. Let me make this very clear that this was an Idea for a solution to the fiscal problems facing the city of Fulton. All ideas must be researched before you can rule them as not being the solution to a given problem. There were several others ideas and they also have been researched and the results were not in Fulton’s favor.

Two game shows? Or real life shows in city of Fulton and Oswego County Legislature. Because of space only the city of Fulton’s game shows will be discussed in this first story. Oswego County Legislature has seen a plethora of ground breaking firsts in the first six months of 2016. First up was the Oswego County Five. You remember, I’m sure, how for some reason five seasoned legislators failed to sign and turn in their oath cards as is required by law.
I extend my sincerest thanks to everyone who helped make the annual United Way Breakfast such a success! Hosted by Robert and Liz McGrath at the Club House Tavern in Oswego and sponsored by Eagle Beverage, Peter and Ann Wiltsie and the Club House Tavern, the event raised $3,600 for our Stuff-A-Bus campaign.
