Know The Facts Before You Vote
Knowing the facts before you vote. I’d like to state a few facts regarding the race for County Legislator of the 25th District so people know for whom they are voting.

Residents of Fulton’s 5th Ward, for the past two years I have had the pleasure and honor to work side by side with Norman “Jay” Foster. I have known Jay for several years but have been working with him on the Common Council since January 1 of last year.
Recently legislators Broadwell and Walpole wrote an attack letter that is more than just misleading. It is false, and it does nothing to advance the interests of the city residents, whom I have faithfully and tirelessly served over the past six years. No one has worked harder than I have to build a better working relationship between the county and city.
I am James Karasek and I would like to announce my bid for re-election for County Legislator, District 22. My endorsements are: Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform. However as my voting record shows as legislator I will vote on the issues and sometimes that means crossing the party line.
In a recent letter entitled “In His Own Words,” Louella LeClair questioned the use of truthful statements made by a friend of mine and your current Oswego County Legislator. LeClair claims to have lowered taxes every year she was in office. Really! Fact is at the start of her tenure the county taxes to a resident in the city of Fulton were 3.44 per thousand…at the end of her tenure that rate was 7.56 per thousand.
My name is David Sterio, and I am running for Highway Superintendent in the Town of Oswego on the Republican and Independence lines.
I’d like to commend Legislator Shane Broadwell, Legislator Stephen Walpole and Oswego Councilor Billy Barlow for taking the initiative to open dialogue between the city and the Oswego County Highway Department by meeting with the county superintendent in regard to paving our city streets.
Mayor Ronald Woodward is successfully leading Fulton through some of Her darkest days.
Norman “Jay” Foster deserves your vote for Fulton 5th Ward Councilor. He continues to clean up our 5th Ward.
I support Michael McAndrew for Oswego County District Attorney. I need a tough District Attorney that will remove the worst criminal offenders from our streets.
