Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) was joined by New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino and members of the Assembly Republican Conference to call on Gov. Kathy Hochul to convene a special session of the Legislature to address the ongoing migrant crisis. The officials were joined by local leaders in College Point, Queens at the former St. Agnes Academic High School, a former Catholic high school that has been converted into a shelter for illegal migrants.

The two killers, Juan Peinado, who brutally murdered a 12-year-old boy in 1996, and George Acosta, who killed a police officer while out on parole, deserve to be locked up forever, plain and simple.
