A new league is forming for boys finishing grades 8-12; games will be played on Thursday evenings starting June 21 and finishing up with playoffs and championship on August 9. Registration and payment are due by June 11 and a live draft will take place that night at the Fallbrook Ski Lodge at 6 p.m.
Fresh off non-wing victories less than a week ago in the Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50s at Oswego Speedway, Dave Shullick Jr. and Chris Perley will face off in ISMA competition this weekend at the Delaware and Lancaster speedways.
This Saturday, June 2, the winged warriors of the Patriot Sprint Tour will invade the Fulton Speedway on Penn Power Group night at the speedway. Joining the Patriot Sprint Tour for a night of speed will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models and the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman.
Chris Perley brought Oswego Speedway to its feet last night when the ‘Rowley Rocket,’ the most successful winged Supermodified driver of all-time at the speedway, drove to his first ever non-wing victory in the second Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50.
Defending Oswego Speedway track champion Dave Shullick Jr. parked the Futuri Media, John Nicotra Racing No. 2 machine in victory lane for his second straight opening night checkered in the first of two Jim Shampine Memorial twin feature events contested this past Saturday.
When it was announced last season that in 2018 the Fulton Speedway would be switching to the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds as the headline division, Brewerton Speedway and Fulton Speedway SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman track champion Ron Davis III plus Todd Root, Glenn Forward and Tyler Trump all announced they would move up to the Small Block Modifieds.
