The Fulton Boys Youth Lacrosse league will hold the first sign up opportunity for the 2018 season tonight (March 7.) From 6-8 p.m., players can register for the season at the Fulton Community Ice Arena located at 605 West Broadway. Additional registration opportunities will be held on Saturday, March 10 from 9-11 a.m. and Tuesday, March 20 from 6-8 p.m., all held at the Community Ice Arena.

The NCAA has a significant problem on its hands regarding the issue of paying its Division I athletes. Mitch Herlihey and Devin Campbell of the nationally-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team have earned individual yearly awards from the State University of New York Athletic Conference. Herlihey, the Lakers’ senior captain, was named Herb Hammond Player of the Year, while Campbell – a junior – was named Defensive Player of the Year.
