Pathfinder Bank has returned as the division sponsor of Oswego Speedway’s Small Block Supermodifieds for the 13th consecutive season ahead of the track’s 68th annual opening day on May 26.
Mariah Madrigal of the Oswego State women’s ice hockey team was named the inaugural Goalie of the Year by the Northeast Women’s Hockey League. The goaltender has helped Oswego to a 12-12-2 record in its first year as part of the NEWHL; with an upcoming appearance in the title game of the NEWHL Championship.
Oswego Speedway will have its presence felt at this weekend’s ‘Finger Lakes Speedworld’ at the Fingerlakes Mall in Auburn, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday March 3 and 4. As part of the event, speedway veteran Barry Kingsley will have his beautiful No. 91 Small Block Supermodified on hand both days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The nationally-ranked and top-seeded Oswego State men’s ice hockey team dropped its third-straight game with a 3-1 loss to No. 5 Fredonia in a SUNYAC Championship semifinal matchup on Saturday night in the Marano Campus Center Arena. With the defeat, the Lakers move to 18-6-2 on the year while the Blue Devils improve to 13-10-4.
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team upset second-seeded Buffalo State, 5-0, on the road on Saturday in the first round of the NEWHL Championship. With the shutout, the Lakers improve their record to 12-12-2 on the season, while Buffalo State ends its season at 13-11-2.
Five members of the nationally ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team have been selected for the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference teams, as voted on by league coaches.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites of Oswego will be on the side of the Missile Motorsports No. 00M Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super, driven by Dan Kapuscinski, in time for the Syracuse Motorsports Expo at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse on March 10-11.
