Oswego State women’s ice hockey finishes regular season with a victory

Oswego’s victory came on Senior Day, as the Lakers honored seniors Sarah Grupp, Victoria Blake, Laura Thacker, Olivia Ellis, Monica Cramer, Andrea Noss and Mariah Madrigal. Oswego ends the season at 11-12-2 overall and 7-8-1 in conference play, while Potsdam finishes with a 12-11-2 record and 4-10-2 in NEWHL action.

Lakers To Host A Pair of Opponents

The No. 3/4 Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (18-3-2 overall, 13-0-1 SUNYAC) will host a pair of opponents this weekend. First, the Potsdam Bears (9-9-5 overall, 5-7-2 SUNYAC) come to Oswego at 7 p.m. on Friday followed by the Plattsburgh Cardinals (12-11-0 overall, 6-8-0 SUNYAC) at the same start time on Saturday in the Marano Campus Center Arena.

The nationally-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team closed out its final road trip of the regular season with a 4-1 victory at Brockport on Saturday night. A night after clinching its second-straight SUNYAC regular season title, the Lakers showed no signs of slowing down, improving to an unbeaten 13-0-1 in the league and 18-3-2 overall.

Oswego State Men’s Ice Hockey Wins A Thriller

The No. 4/4 Oswego State men’s ice hockey team defeated No. 7 Geneseo, 4-2, in a thriller at home on Friday night. Mitch Herlihey led the way with two goals, earning a spot in the Oswego history books by becoming the 56th player in program history with 100 career points. With the victory, the Lakers improve to 17-3-2 on the season and remain unbeaten at 12-0-1 in SUNYAC play.
