Lakers Tame Mustangs, Move to 9-0
The nation’s top-ranked team, the Oswego State men’s ice hockey team, dominated Morrisville State College 8-1 at home on Saturday night. Nine straight wins to open a season is the Lakers’ best mark since the 2010-11 group won its first 12 contests.

Oswego State women’s ice hockey win streak continues
The nationally-ranked Oswego State women’s ice hockey team made it five straight victories with a 6-1 win over SUNY Canton on Saturday afternoon in the Marano Campus Center Arena. Oswego is now 11-1-0 overall.

The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team posted a lopsided 10-0 victory over visiting SUNY Canton on Friday night in the Marano Campus Center Arena. Oswego was powered by a five-goal second period, its most goals in a period since posting six tallies in the third period of a 9-3 triumph at Chatham University on Jan. 14, 2012.

Ohio’s Dave Shullick Jr. Eyes Oswego Supermodified Track Championship with John Nicotra Racing
For the first time in more than 20 years, a veteran Ohio Supermodified driver will contend for Oswego Speedway’s coveted Novelis Supermodified track championship as two-time and defending ISMA Supermodified champion Dave Shullick Jr. will join forces with John Nicotra Racing for a weekly assault on the ‘Steel Palace’ in 2017.

Oswego State women’s ice hockey team pounds Williams College
The No. 7/7 Oswego State women’s ice hockey team easily handled Williams College 7-2 on the road Saturday night. Oswego advances to 8-1-0 on the year while the Ephs drop below .500 at 1-2-0. It was a third period explosion that helped the Lakers down Williams, recording five goals in the 20-minute stanza.

NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week took on a new twist for its 45th edition, sliding inside the steel confines of Oswego Speedway, featuring the Super DIRTcar Series Bud Light 200. This historic first outing at the ‘Steel Palace’ was covered in-depth by Suzuki presents Speed Sport and will air on national television Thanksgiving night on MAVTV, beginning at 7 p.m.
