The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will head to Fulton Speedway on October 8 for the “Saturday Night Special” during NAPA Auto Parts Super Dirt Week. Fulton is one of three municipalities getting in on the NAPA Super DIRT Week action with traditional nighttime events.
With Oswego Speedway’s highly anticipated 60th Budweiser International Classic Weekend on the horizon highlighted by the Budweiser International Classic 200 for Novelis Supermodifieds and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Toyota ‘Mod Classic 150’ presented by McDonald’s, Speedway management is excited to officially announce a Classic makeover in anticipation of the big weekend.

As if a $10,000 prize check and the right to be called Oswego Speedway’s Mr. Novelis Supermodified wasn’t enough, Shell Shock Custom Designs will also provide a custom 30th anniversary Bell helmet to the champion of the prestigious event to be held on July 23, valued at an estimated $1,500.

NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week, Oct. 5-9, will move to the historic Oswego Speedway in 2016. Oswego, a historic paved, half-mile track 35 miles north of Syracuse, will be covered with dirt for the first time since 1952 to accommodate the Napa 300 and all of the week’s events and festivities.
For the first time since 1952, Oswego Speedway’s racing surface will be covered in dirt, as the ‘Steel Palace’ will officially play host to NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week XLV running from October 5-9, including the featured NAPA 300. The official announcement from the World Racing Group comes on the heels of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s press conference held earlier this afternoon at Oswego’s Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, in which Governor Cuomo not only announced the city of Oswego as the winner of a $10 million Downtown Revitalization initiative, but also confirmed a plan to move Super DIRT Week from Central New York Raceway Park to Oswego Speedway
