Michael Barnes Flies to Budweiser International Classic 200 Pole Position
Oswego Speedway’s Budweiser International Classic 200 will be led to the green flag on Sunday by ‘The Hustler’ Michael Barnes, driving the Syrell Racing No. 68 Novelis Supermodified. Barnes cranked just the second 15.8 second lap in the history of non-wing Supermodified racing at the ‘Steel Palace’ on Friday night with a lap of 15.899 seconds.

Bob Bond Sets Fastest Lap of Classic Week Testing, Speeds Continue to Climb
The third day of Budweiser Classic Week testing at Oswego Speedway continued on Wednesday as Bob Bond, Dan Connors Jr., Joey Moriarty, Joe Gosek, Brian Sobus, and Aric Iosue all took to the fast 5/8 mile to begin preparation for ‘Fast 14’ pole day time trials on Friday as well as the Budweiser International Classic 200 on Sunday. Bob Bond led the test session on Wednesday, which ran from 4-8 p.m.

Bob Magner Returns to Lead Day 2 Classic Week Testing at Oswego
The second day of Budweiser Classic Week testing at Oswego Speedway continued on Tuesday as Bob Magner, Kreig Heroth, Mark Castiglia, and Matt Magner all took to the fast 5/8 mile to begin preparation for the Bud Light SBS Classic on September 5 and the Budweiser International Classic 200 on September 6.

Oswego Kartway Classic, Party in the Pits Launch Official Budweiser Classic Week Track Activity at Oswego Speedway
The 9th annual Oswego Kartway Classic will kick off racing directly behind Oswego Speedway during Budweiser International Classic Week on September 3 at 6:30 p.m. The Kartway Classic has become a staple event for kart racers throughout New York State, and with increasing weekly kart counts at Oswego Kartway during the regular season, the Classic looks to be on its way to a record number of entries next week.

Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway Billy Decker won a classic battle with Pat Ward with a last lap pass to win the Tracey Road Equipment Modified feature. Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway Billy Decker did it once again. Decker took the lead on lap 22 from Chris Hile in the 35-lap Tracey Road Equipment Modified feature and never looked back, winning by over three seconds at the checkers.
