Oswego Teen Places First In Hurricane Junior Golf Tournament

On August 8 and 9, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to beautiful Baldwinsville to host the Western New York Junior Shootout at Timber Banks Golf Club. In the Boys’ 15-18 division, Oswego resident Eric Demidowicz took home the first place trophy as he really showed off his talent on the putting green.

Miller Scores First Career Oswego Kartway Win; Cliff Runs Away in Super/SBS Challenge Race

Another 100 plus entries took on Oswego Kartway last Friday night with Griffin Miller and Dave Cliff scoring the night’s big victories at the ‘Bullring.’ Miller, the grandson of veteran Supermodified car owner Steve Miller, led every lap on his way to his first career victory in the Jr. Blue Clone division on Friday, driving the No. 9.

O’Toole ’95, swimmers Patrick Chetney ’93 and Charlie Manners ’96 and women’s soccer standout Janet D’Agostino Davis ’98.
