Losurdo Racing and driver Anthony Losurdo will be putting on their annual Oswego Speedway Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super racing fundraiser February 22 at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego beginning at noon. The fundraiser will feature barbeque chicken or pulled pork dinners for $10.
The Oswego State women’s basketball team fell 66-61 to Plattsburgh at Max Ziel Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the team goes to 8-15 overall and 6-10 in the SUNYAC.

The Oswego State women’s basketball team made it two straight victories and three out of its last four with an 93-75 win over Potsdam on Friday night in Max Ziel Gymnasium. With the triumph, the Lakers go to 8-14 on the year and 6-9 in SUNYAC action while the Bears drop to 1-20, 0-14.
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team defeated Stevenson University 2-0 on Friday night at the Marano Campus Center Arena. The win had special meaning as it was Diane Dillon’s 100th win of her career. Dillon has been head coach of the team ever since its reboot in 2006.
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team earned their 16th win of the season on Friday night, defeating Brockport 3-1 on the road. The win marks the sixth-straight victory for the Lakers and improves its record to 16-2-3 overall and 11-1-1 in the SUNYAC.
The Oswego State men’s basketball team had its second straight convincing performance at home, this time in the form of an 83-55 victory over Potsdam in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego’s triumph improves its season mark to 15-7 and 11-4 in league action while the Bears fall to 2-18, 1-13.
The Step One Creative Peewee Red hockey team of the Oswego Minor Hockey Association picked up wins over Cortland, Center State, and Rome this past week, and also recently battled to a second-place finish at the annual Mark Mowers Tournament held in Whitestown.
