The Oswego State women’s soccer team lost its season-opener 1-0 to Westfield State College in the first round of the Rutland Herald Invitational hosted by Castleton State College on Saturday afternoon. Oswego used Emma Geyer’s goal in the 81st minute to move past Rutgers-Camden 2-1 in the Rutland Herald Invitational held by Castleton State College Sunday.

The Oswego State field hockey team took a 7-0 loss to host and nationally-ranked William Smith College on Friday evening.

The Oswego State men’s soccer team started their 2014 season on a good note, edging Cazenovia 2-1 on Friday afternoon at Laker Soccer Field in the opening round of the Oswego State Classic.
