The Oswego boys’ varsity hockey team captured a crucial game on Tuesday with a 5-0 blanking of host Clinton. In the third game of the bowling match, three of our five bowlers had a 279 game meaning that each one only had one frame that wasn’t a strike.

The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team dropped a 4-0 decision at Buffalo State on Saturday night, with all four goals coming in the second period. With the loss, Oswego falls to 12-4-1 on the year and 5-3-1 in SUNYAC play. The Bengals were outshot by the Lakers 33-22 while Oswego also edged Buffalo State in face-offs (33-31).
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team took nationally-ranked Elmira College to the brink on Saturday afternoon, eventually falling 2-1 in overtime to the Soaring Eagles. Oswego’s loss sets the team record back to 10-6-1 overall and 6-3-1 in the ECAC West while Elmira improves to 13-3-1, 8-0-0.
