The (New Hartford) Spartans marched in and conquered Fulton 53-25 on the Raiders’ homecoming on Oct. 4. New Hartford came into this Class A football crossover battle on a three-game win streak, with much credit to their offensive specialist Stephen Tomaino.
With the 2013 Oswego Speedway season in the books, focus now to shifts to the Mitchell’s Speedway Press Oswego Speedway Hall of Fame Banquet set to be hosted by the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center on November 2.
Once again the Fulton Speedway and the 28th Annual Sunoco- Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 presented by SUNY Canton lived up to its reputation. Forty-five Modifeds started the 200 lap event that provided two-three and sometimes four wide racing in front of a huge crowd Saturday. It was only fitting that the race came down to a green, white, checker finish.
It was a battle of the rookie and the veteran throughout most of the 50-lap $2,500-to-win Industrial Tire Of CNY Sportsman Shootout 50 Saturday at the Fulton Speedway. Racing veteran Matt Janczuk and rookie Mike Walton put on a show for the huge crowd on hand for the 28th Annual Sunoco-Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 Saturday presented by SUNY Canton.
Well over 200 race cars signed into the Fulton Speedway pits Friday night on night one of the 28th annual Outlaw 200 weekend. When the huge pit area filled up, speedway staff had to open the old drag strip behind turn two to accommodate all the race teams.

The varsity golf team finished fourth place in post season action and sent some of its members to the state event while the girls volleyball team bounced back over Fayetteville-Manlius, the swimming team remained unbeaten and the tennis team completed the regular season.
The Oswego golf team captured the league title while the Lady Bucs swimmers continued to cruise in the pool. Meanwhile, the varsity tennis team celebrated on senior night with a victory and the volleyball along with cross country teams were in action.
