Otto Sitterly started Saturday’s Race of Champions 100-lap main event, the first Supermodified 100 run at the Speedway since 2005, from the 9th position but rode steady just inside the top five for the majority of the event.

Everyone in attendance Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway left talking about what they saw in the Modified and Sportsman features in what is being called the best races of the 2013 season to date.

A strong bout of thunderstorms has forced Race of Champions officials to postpone the remaining Friday night portion of the 63rd annual SUNOCO Race of Champions Weekend until Sunday at Oswego Speedway.The Saturday schedule remains unchanged with qualifying set for 3 p.m.

A huge crowd, NASCAR Stars Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart, 410 Sprint Cars plus a highly competitive SUNY Canton Sportsman field made for a highly successful night for both fans and racers Thursday night at the Fulton Speedway.

The 63rd annual SUNOCO Race of Champions Weekend is just around the corner and so too is the first 100-lap Novelis Supermodified main event since the 2005 season. The 100-lap main, which will be split into two 50-lap segments, is expected to see a handful of new or returning entrants into its field this coming Saturday.
