Oswego Kartway once again came back in full force last Friday with the running of the annual ‘King of the Kartway’ on the fast 1/12 mile Bull Ring with 94 entries on hand to race for the right to wear the cape and crown. In the Clone Light division it was clear early on that the term ‘King’ may have to be substituted with ‘Queen’ as Kaylynn Simmons was on a rail early on in the No. 44.

With a flurry of activity in the Pathfinder Bank SBS division on Saturday evening, it was once again Four Sevens Motorsports driver Mark Castiglia finding Turning Stone Resort Casino Victory Lane at night’s end in the Century 21 Galloway Realty 30-lap main at Oswego Speedway.

Not long after leading 29-laps of the first Novelis Supermodified feature on Saturday night, Kody Graham had another shot at a front row starting spot in the Century 21 Galloway Realty night cap and this time he made good on the opportunity.
Graham started to the outside of Tim Snyder in the front row of the 50-lap main event, stole the lead from the drop of the green and led all 50-laps on the way to his second career win at the ‘Steel Palace.’

After racking up 36 career top five finishes without a victory over a career that spans back to 1999, Lavery boldly added career top five number 37 in the fashion he has dreamed about for so long, removing his name as the driver with the most top five finishes at Oswego without a victory.

It’s never over until the checker flag waves. Ryan Phelps proved that Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway in the 35 lap Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified feature. Phelps was able to run down and pass Robbie Bellinger  on lap 28 when the back of the field the bunched up making it tough for Bellinger to get by.

ust one week after collecting his first career Oswego Speedway victory, Dalton Doyle got to do it all over again.  The final 20-laps of the June 1 Pathfinder Bank SBS main were to be completed on Saturday, with Doyle inheriting the lead after front runners Josh Kerr and Anthony Losurdo crashed before the rains came two weeks ago.

The second annual Racing for Ronald McDonald House Walk was held at Oswego Speedway on June 8 and once again saw a healthy group of supporters attend to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY. Racing for Ronald McDonald House efforts have raised a total of $2,605 toward the RMHC of CNY charities since the walk on June 8.

Excitement has been building since it was announced Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart would be bringing their 410 Sprint Cars to race on July 17, continuing their on track NASCAR Battles to the dirt of the Fulton Speedway.
