Dave Danzer earned his third Novelis supermodified feature win Saturday night at the Oswego Speedway. Wrestling the lead away from early front-runner Tim Devendorf on the 39th lap, Danzer would race unchallenged the rest of the way. It was the third top-five finish of the year for the Oswego native and pilot of the Hawk Racing Chassis No. 52.

Oswego Speedway returns to racing on Saturday night presented by RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting, with a special cash bonus of $302 being posted in memory of former Speedway employee Danny Quonce. Saturday, June 29, would have been Quonce’s 51st birthday, and in his honor former Speedway promoter and RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting founder, Romey Caruso, will add $151 to the winner’s share of both the Novelis Supermodified main event and Pathfinder Bank SBS main event.

After a half dozen races, the top twenty drivers in the current championship standings sit behind the wheel of either a Hedger Racing Chassis or an FFB Chassis, with the Hedger gang currently holding the front five positions in the title hunt.
