When it was announced in February about a July 4 holiday special named “Red, White and Brew” at the Brewerton Speedway July 3,4,5 and 6, the date seemed so far away. The excitement is building as the time is here in just one week

After a half dozen races, the top twenty drivers in the current championship standings sit behind the wheel of either a Hedger Racing Chassis or an FFB Chassis, with the Hedger gang currently holding the front five positions in the title hunt.

Friday night’s racing will mark the fifth point event of the season, with championship point battles across all eleven divisions that compete weekly at the tight 1/12 mile clay oval. Currently all three of the senior Clone divisions sport the closest margins after four events this season.

After one week off in observance of graduation weekend in the city of Oswego, Oswego Speedway will return to racing this Saturday with RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting/C’s Farm Market & Beverage Center Night at the Races.

After a week off so families could spend time with and celebrate with their high school graduates, the Fulton Speedway is ready to get back into action as RFH’s Hideaway presents the nights racing highlighted by the Junior Fan Club Bike Giveaway this Saturday.

Mark July 6 on your calendar because it is going to be a very special day at Oswego Speedway, as for the first time the ‘Steel Palace’ will present ‘Christmas in July’ to benefit Toys for Tots of Oswego County.
