With a jam packed schedule on the docket for Century 21 Galloway Realty Night at the Races on June 15 at Oswego Speedway, the Novelis Supermodified division will have a little more on the line thanks to Edick-Hamlink VFW Post 369 of Mexico. The Mexico Men’s Auxiliary of VFW Post 369 will be holding its third annual car show on Sunday, June 9 beginning at 9 a.m.

As if there wasn’t enough excitement  when Sprint Cup Stars Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart announced they will be loading up their 410 Sprint Cars to come and compete at the Fulton Speedway on July 17, McDonald’s is giving the fans a chance to win a VIP experience that includes a meet and greet with the two racing stars, plus other prizes.

Joining the winged ISMA Supermodifieds for round two of the Shea Concrete ‘Steel Palace’ ISMA SuperSeries presented by Crop Production Services on Saturday will be Oswego’s own Pathfinder Bank SBS.  Last Saturday night Russ Brown, Jeremy Pitcher, and Dalton Doyle all raced onto qualifying heat race wins in the division as dark skies loomed over the Speedway.

The management of the Fulton Speedway would like to thank all of the loyal race fans and race teams for sticking around last Saturday night, June 1, under less than ideal conditions when Mother Nature tried her best to end the night after qualifying. This coming Saturday, June 8, will see a full night of racing.

The Eagles Fan Club at Oswego Speedway announced on Tuesday a partnership with Oswego’s Chris Nelson Insurance of State Farm to give away four brand new Hoosier Racing Tires during the 2013 season at the ‘Steel Palace.’  The first give away will be this Saturday at the Speedway as a part of Crop Production Services Night at the Races.

The evening’s racing will feature the second ISMA Supermodified main event of the 2013 season which will run 50-laps in length, as well as a 35-lap Pathfinder Bank SBS feature presented by Crop Production Services. With the help of Shea Concrete, the overall point champion of the four race series will take home a cool $2,000, with the top five in the overall standings receiving additional bonus cash.

Mother nature threw her best punches Saturday night when the skies opened up causing an over an hour rain delay. Instead of throwing in the towel, the Fulton Speedway track crew got to work providing a fast track surface for the nights features.

After a day long battle with rain drops and impending storms, the skies finally opened up for good on lap 10 of the Pathfinder Bank SBS feature. By 9 p.m. it was determined that the driving rain and continued threat of more weather, compounded with the already wet track conditions, would be simply too much to overcome on Saturday night.
