The second annual Racing for Ronald McDonald House Walk was held at Oswego Speedway on June 8 and once again saw a healthy group of supporters attend to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY. Racing for Ronald McDonald House efforts have raised a total of $2,605 toward the RMHC of CNY charities since the walk on June 8.
Excitement has been building since it was announced Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart would be bringing their 410 Sprint Cars to race on July 17, continuing their on track NASCAR Battles to the dirt of the Fulton Speedway.
With all of the action on tap this Saturday night at Oswego Speedway, don’t forget to come prepared for the first driver autograph session of the season presented by Entergy. At the conclusion of hot laps for both the Pathfinder Bank SBS and Novelis Supermodified divisions, race fans will be invited to the Speedway’s main straightaway to meet their favorite racecar driver and get an autograph.
Universal Metal Works, Rombough Electric and the Tri-Oswego Triathlon teamed up in 2012 to manufacture new bike racks for use with the event, according to Shane Broadwell, Tri-Oswego Race Director.
With three of the past six events at the Kartway being cancelled due to rain, this Friday’s ‘King of the Kartway’ events are shaping up to be bigger than ever with everyone chomping at the bit to get back on track.
North Bay Campgrounds will be hosting its sixth Annual Fishing Derby on Lake Neatahwanta. The event is set for June 29 from 10 a.m. until noon. Registration desk opens at 9:30 a.m.
With a rain shortened program on June 1, an already exciting June 15 racing program at Oswego Speedway has reached another level. Century 21 Galloway Realty Night at the Races on June 15, which features the first driver autograph session of the season presented by Entergy as well as the Grossman St. Amour Make-a-Wish Foundation 2-Seat Supermodified ride, will now see four feature events on the schedule with 150-laps of racing for only $15.
What goes better together than hard hitting rock and high speed racing. K-Rock, the area’s most popular rock station will be on hand to present a full night of racing action this Saturday at the Fulton Speedway.

After experiencing the event over three years, our involvement in Make-A-Wish has grown. This year we are sponsoring a ride in the 2-seat Supermodified racecar for 17-year-old Daniel.
