While Davey Hamilton is the current Novelis Supermodified championship leader at Oswego Speedway, for all intent and purposes Mexico, NY driver Michael Barnes is the man on top of the mountain with Memorial Day Weekend right around the corner.

SUNY Canton one of the long time supporters of the Fulton Speedway and title sponsor of the Sportsman division is proud to present a night of high speed, side by side racing this Saturday on the “High Banks” of the Fulton Speedway.

The Speedway will play host to the Memorial Day Weekend ‘Triple-Header’ this weekend featuring the Jim Shampine Memorial Novelis Supermodified 75, the Richie Evans Memorial Race of Champions Modified 75, and the Tony White Memorial Pathfinder Bank SBS 35.

By Pat Ward’s standards 2013 hasn’t gotten off to the start he wanted. On top of that, on Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway, Ward had the fastest car and in the lead on the final lap when second place Ryan Bartlett who lost his brakes, got into Ward taking both out of contention for the win.

Wednesday night, sophomore Megan Brown earned her 100th strikeout of the season, bringing the total up to 106 this season, as the Lady Firebirds ended Marcellus’s 10-game winning streak with a 4-3 win.

Oswego Kartway will be back in action this Friday, May 17 with its second event of the 2013 championship season. The Kartway’s Mitchell’s Speedway Press ‘Kick-Off’ on May 3 was a tremendous success with a total of 84 entries taking the green flag between 11 different classes of racing.

Syracuse Haulers the provider of waste removal and green recycling to the Brewerton and Fulton Speedway presents a full night of family fun racing this Saturday night May, 18th at the Fulton Speedway. On the race card Saturday night will be the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, SUNY  Canton Sportsman, NAPA Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and Four Cylinder Stocks.
