Tori Trovato (Fr., Fulton, N.Y.) earned her first collegiate shutout as the Oswego State women’s ice hockey team (6-4-1, 6-2-0 ECAC West) won 4-0 over Chatham (1-7-0, 0-6-0 ECAC West) Sunday afternoon to complete the series sweep.

Four Oswego State wrestlers registered second-place finishes at the RIT Invitational to help the Lakers place third out of 11 teams with 122 points. Omar Santiago, Michael Gentilcore, Andrew Cole, and Kyle Sheridan each posted runner-up results, as Wesleyan won the team title with 152 points.

The top-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (8-1-0, 7-1-0 SUNYAC) had a late third-period surge, but fell short of completing the comeback as it suffered a 2-1 loss to seventh-ranked Plattsburgh (7-2-1, 6-1-1) on Saturday night at the Campus Center Ice Arena.

Meagan Stover (Sr., Lake George, N.Y.) and Lauren Nunziato (Jr., West Sand Lake, N.Y.) both tallied 16 points as the Oswego State women’s basketball team (5-0, 2-0 SUNYAC) pulled away early in a 76-44 win over Potsdam (1-6, 0-2 SUNYAC) on Saturday afternoon.

The top-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (7-0-0, 6-0-0 SUNYAC) was the beneficiary of two goals from Eli Kim-Swallow (So., Toronto, Ontario), as the Lakers defeated Potsdam (3-5-0, 2-4-0 SUNYAC), 6-0, Friday night at the Campus Center Ice Arena.
