Leslie Jarvis (Jr., Newmarket, Ontario) picked a great time to score her first collegiate goal, as her power-play marker with 7.2 seconds remaining in overtime gave the Oswego State women’s ice hockey team a 2-1 victory over Neumann on Sunday afternoon.

The Oswego State wrestling team tallied 28.5 points to place 13th out of 19 teams at the New York State Collegiate Championships hosted by Cornell University on Saturday.

The top-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (7-0-0, 6-0-0 SUNYAC) raced out to a 3-0 first period lead and never looked back, as it defeated Fredonia (4-5-0, 3-4-0 SUNYAC), 7-1, Saturday night.

Junior transfer Daniel Ross (Syracuse, N.Y.) buried all seven shots he attempted on Saturday night, compiling 17 points, and leading the Oswego State men’s basketball (2-0) to its second straight Max Ziel Tournament title.

Three players scored their first goals of the season to help the Oswego State women’s ice hockey team (3-3-1, 3-2-0 ECAC West) defeat Neumann (2-2-1, 2-1-0 ECAC West), 4-2, on Saturday night.

The Oswego State women’s basketball team (2-0) raced out to an 18-3 lead over D’Youville (1-1), and led from start to finish in a 66-39 win to capture its third straight Max Ziel Tournament Championship.

The Oswego State men’s swimming and diving team was victorious defeating Brockport by a final score of 160-127. However, the Laker women fell to the Golden Eagles 173-104 on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 1-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (6-0-0, 5-0-0 SUNYAC) erased a two-goal deficit to defeat Buffalo State (2-5-1, 1-4-1 SUNYAC), 5-4, Friday night at the Campus Center Ice Arena.

The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Football program held its end-of-the-year awards ceremony at APW High School on November 10. Coach John Jeffries thanked the players and their families for their support for the football program this year.
