Michael Fuss (So., Webster, N.Y.) netted his first goal of the season to put the Oswego State men’s soccer team (3-8-1, 2-3-1 SUNYAC) ahead for good, as the Lakers defeated Buffalo State (1-10-1, 0-4-1 SUNYAC), 1-0, during Senior Day on Saturday.
Billy Decker started his day by winning the poll for Sunday’s VP Small Engines Fuel 200 at Super DIRT Week, and then ended the day winning the $10,500 plus lap money to win 20th annual SUNY Canton Hurricane 100 presented by Ferris Mowers at the Brewerton Speedway.

The Oswego State field hockey team (2-8, 1-3 SUNYAC) was unable to get on the scoreboard in a 7-0 loss to perennial powerhouse Cortland (5-4, 2-1 SUNYAC) on Friday.
Juniors Brendan Beisner (West Islip, N.Y.) and Mike Naab (Ontario, N.Y.) both netted their first goals of the season to lift the Oswego State men’s soccer team (2-8-1, 1-3-1 SUNYAC) to a 2-0 win over conference foe Fredonia (3-10-0, 2-2-0 SUNYAC).
Nikki Liadka (Jr., Liverpool, N.Y.) scored the lone goal late in the game, as the Oswego State women’s soccer team (5-5-0, 2-3-0 SUNYAC) fell 3-1 to Fredonia (8-2-1, 2-1-1 SUNYAC) on Friday.
The Oswego Buc Boosters hosted their biggest Homecoming celebration yet, at their fifth annual BucFest held this past Saturday at Oswego High School’s Joe Wilber Field.
The Four-cylinders will have Double features that day. The Holdover feature will be held along with a complete additional program.
