The Oswego State field hockey team (2-8) got back into the win column at home when it put together a great team effort to defeated the Wells Express (4-7), 4-2, on Wednesday afternoon.
Sophomore Haley Miller (Springwater, N.Y.) battled back from an 8-2 deficit in the third-set supertiebreaker to win at fifth singles and give the Oswego State women’s tennis team (3-8) a 5-4 win over St. John Fisher (1-8) on Wednesday.

Nikki Liadka (Jr., Liverpool, N.Y.) scored for the second straight day as the Oswego State women’s soccer team (5-4-0, 2-2-0 SUNYAC) evened its league record after a 2-1 win over Plattsburgh (5-6-0, 1-2-0 SUNYAC).
Haley Miller (So., Springwater, N.Y.) took a set at fifth singles, but her result would be the best for the Oswego State women’s tennis team (1-8) as Plattsburgh (7-3) defeated the Lakers, 9-0, on Friday.
The Oswego State men’s soccer team was unable to keep its streak going against rival Plattsburgh, as the Lakers lost 2-0 on Saturday. The loss ends a four-year unbeaten streak (3-0-1) for Oswego against the Cardinals.
