The Oswego State volleyball team (2-4) suffered a pair of setbacks to Saint Michael’s and St. Lawrence in the last day of the Victory Promotions Invitational on the St. Lawrence campus Saturday.

The Oswego State men’s soccer team (1-3-0) fell behind early and could not catch up, dropping its third straight contest of the season, 3-0, to Nazareth (3-0-0) on Saturday.

The Oswego State men’s and women’s cross country teams both took fourth in the 22nd annual 2012 Oswego State Cross Country Invitational held on Saturday. The University of Rochester took first in the 12-team men’s event and Ithaca earned top honors on the nine-team women’s 5K race.

For the first time since 2005, the Speedway will hold a non-wing event passed Classic Weekend with the rebirth of the Fall Championship. The season finale will be a non-points paying event featuring a 75-lap Novelis Supermodified main and a 35-lap Pathfinder Bank SBS feature.
