Racing events will be in honor of three great Oswego Speedway racers: The Jim Shampine Memorial 75 for Supermodifieds, Richie Evans Memorial 75 for Modifiieds, and the Tony White Memorial 35 for the SBS Series.
In the past two seasons this recycling partnership has surpassed the half million mark in recyclable cans thanks to the generous race fans that have donated an average of over 100,000 cans for each of the past six seasons in exchange for race tickets and other Oswego Speedway prizes.
NAPA is once again stepping up in a big way for the Brewerton Speedway. On Friday, August 31, NAPA Auto Parts will present the “NAPA Winners Classic” – a race open only to Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified feature winners during the 2012 racing season.
For the 56th time in Oswego Speedway history, the ‘Steel Palace’ will once again open its gates for auto racing on Memorial Day Weekend. Round two of the Speedway season will take the green flag at 4 p.m. on Saturday and all of the racing action will be presented by Mitchell’s Speedway Press of Oswego
As the weather heats up, so does the action on the Fulton Speedway “High Banks” this weekend as full night of racing is on tap featuring the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, NAPA Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and Parts Plus Four Cylinder Stocks.

Lacrosse sectionals are ready to kick off with both Buc varsity teams hosting opponents. On May 22 the third seeded Lady Bucs will host sixth seed Carthage at Joe Wilber Field at 5 p.m. and the following evening, May 23, the fourth seeded Buc boys’ will host number five East Syracuse-Minoa at 7 p.m
