Dylan Lavner was named the “Most Valuable Player” and Dustin Sands earned a berth on the all tournament team as the Oswego High School Buccaneers captured the championship of the Fulton Christmas Classic with a 63-47 win over Central Square.

The Oswego Clearview Squirt hockey team defeated Ithaca 5-3 and Morrisville 12-1 in recent Snowbelt hockey action, according to Oswego Head Coach Eric Koproski.
With Margo Dillon playing the best game of her young varsity career and Bella Winklestine ripping down a game-high 12 rebounds, the Oswego Lady Bucs varsity basketball team scored a 41-31 victory over Henninger.
Swimmers and hockey players brought home team victories in varsity competition while the modified volleyball team and Lady Buc jayvee cagers continue to win. Meanwhile, wrestlers have displayed some solid individual efforts while the Lady Buc hockey and basketball teams battle back.
During the meet, several Fulton swimmers were recognized as swimmers of the week.
The Oswego Clearview hockey team split a pair of squirt games recently against Camillus and Ithaca, according to Oswego Assistant Head Coach Rob Raby.
Senior Chad Burridge (Hannibal, N.Y.) also became the school’s all-time career leader in blocked shots when he blocked his 217th shot 2:35 into the game to move him ahead of Ahmad Mims (2002-06) on the all-time list.
