Fulton 3/4 Lacrosse Team Members are “Kings of the Hill”

Fulton's 3 and 4 grade lacrosse team went 3-0 at the King of the Hill tournament, outscoring their opponents 21-3. Kelly Caza, Hayley Vann, Rebecca Bailey, Domonique Johnson, Keara Patterson, Camille Stevenson, Patrice Hudson, Maddie Baum. Airyona Croci, Coach Hinman, Coach Dunsmoor, Taylor Bonoffski, Coach Karpinko, Megan Lupton, Olivia Duca, Kelsey Pickard.

This past Saturday Fulton’s 3/4 grade girls lacrosse team participated in the King of the Hill tournament at JD High School. Fulton finished the day with a 3-0 record and outscored their opponents by a combined score of 21-3.

Oz Roller Girls Breaking In With Winning Season

J-Rock-It (Jamie Leszczynski) has been part of a balanced scoring attack that, coupled with good blocking and team play, has helped the Oz Roller Girls to a 4-2 record during the first part of their inaugural season of roller derby. Oz resumes their home bouting season August 27 vs. the ManchVegas Roller Girls and many skaters will participate in the first-ever Triple-D (Derby, Down and Dirty) tournament July 29 to 31 at Crisafulli Rink during Harborfest weekend. (Christy Germain Cass photo)In their debut season, the Oz Roller Girls head into the midsummer break with a 4-2 record and hundreds of new fans for the growing sport of roller derby.

The season has exceeded expectations, in bouts and in community involvement, but has involved a lot of hard work, teamwork and learning.

Matt Sheppard is the Class of the Field in Winning His 2nd Modified Feature at Brewerton Speedway

Matt Sheppard out of Waterloo, NY Started 13th in the 27 car Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified feature taking the lead on lap 13 from Chad Phelps. Once in the lead Sheppard was the class of the field outdistancing Jim Davis in the 35 lap main.
