With ten to go, Perley was reeling in Graham and by lap 44, the 11 was in the lead, but Graham wasn’t giving up and Perley knew it. It was survival of the fittest to the checkered.

Bresnahan took the lead at the drop of the green in the 35 lap Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified feature and drove a flawless race out distancing Jimmy Phelps to the checkers. Not only was it Bresnahan’s first win in the division, but it was the first win for the GM CT 525 Spec engine against the Big Block Modifieds.
Winning from last once in a season is tough, but to do it twice against one of the toughest Big Block Modifieds fields in the Northeast is unheard of. Matt Sheppard out of Waterloo, NY did just that Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway.
Adam Stockwell, most recently the head men’s basketball coach at SUNY Oswego, has been selected to fill the same position at Hamilton College.
Hockey enthusiasts will get a chance to see Oswego-native Erik Cole and other NHL and former Oswego State Laker hockey players up close and on the ice Saturday, July 23rd at 7 p.m. at the SUNY Oswego Campus Center Ice Arena.
The Erik Cole Dream Big Foundation 3-on-3 Youth Hockey Classic will take to the ice July 22-24th at the SUNY Oswego Campus Center Ice Arena, according to Tim Graber, Dream Big Youth Hockey Tournament Coordinator.

Along with these dates this is a reminder that all students who are interested in participating in sports during the 2011-12 school year must have an updated sports physical in order to play.
The Hockey Hall of Fame’s traveling exhibit will make a stop at the SUNY Oswego Campus Center on Saturday, July 23rd as part of the 2011 Erik Cole Dream Big Foundation Golf & Hockey Classic, according to Event Organizer Kevin Caraccioli.
