Lady Buc swimmers excelled in the pool while the boys’ volleyball team fell in Section III competition. It was also the week that the Buc Boosters recognized fall sports athletes.
Paul Rodrigues started the scoring with two first-period goals for the Oswego State men’s ice hockey team and it never looked back as the Lakers opened SUNYAC play with a 5-2 win over Buffalo State Friday night in Oswego.
In its first game of the 2010-11 season, the Oswego State women’s ice hockey team was unable to take advantage of the opportunities it was given in a 2-0 loss to Adrian Friday night in Adrian, Mich.
