More than 100 Oswego State student-athletes from the men’s and women’s lacrosse, wrestling, women’s soccer, and field hockey teams were among the 185 participants at Hannibal’s Platelet Disorder Support Association (PDSA) 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept. 25.
Once again the Oswego golf team gained a win while the cross country team had some solid individual performances and other teams were also in action recently.
For the second time this season Dave Marcuccilli outlasted runner-up Tim Sears Jr. to take top honors in a Hoosier Tire-VP Racing Fuels Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series event.
An eighth grade golfer paced the Oswego High School golf team to victory while the varsity soccer teams played well in victories. Meanwhile, the swimmers were solid in their most recent meet and the girls’ volleyball team continues to win.
The past two alumni games have been decided by identical 7-7 scores, and although that wasn’t the case this year as the club team defeated the alumni by several goals, the alumni enjoyed coming back and playing again in the Campus Center Rink.
