What better way to cap-off the end of a school year than to celebrate with an awards ceremony? That was the case for Oswego County BOCES Multi-Occupational (Multi-Occ) students from the morning and afternoon programs who were honored recently for their hard work, outstanding efforts, and accomplishments.

Students with perfect attendance were honored first followed by special area achievement awards for Job Employment Training (JET) Program students excelling in areas such as bake shop, marketing and retailing and auto detailing. Goals of the JET program include teaching job acquisition skills that students will need for any type of employment as well as entry level skills specific to certain areas of employment. Students in the JET program spend a few weeks each a variety of modules which include job preparation and consumer skills as well as specific employment skills.
