Bubble Man To Entertain Children At Taste Of Oswego

OSWEGO, NY – Children attending the Taste of Oswego, sponsored by Alliance Bank, will be in for a real treat, a special performance by Doug Rougeux, The Bubble Man.

The world famous Bubble Man will be entertaining children of all ages with a live performance during Taste of Oswego.

Presented by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and the Children’s Board of Oswego, The Bubble Man’s outstanding scientific and entertainment achievements have been recognized by science and children’s museums coast to coast including The Smithsonian Institute.

His unique skills have been astonishing audiences of every conceivable nature throughout the country.

The Bubble Man has appeared on the Discovery Channel, the Science Channel, at the Lincoln Center in New York City as well as many other venues and television shows.

“We are very excited to be adding amazing talent of The Bubble Man to the entertainment line up at the Taste of Oswego, sponsored by Alliance Bank and we appreciate the efforts of the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and the Children’s Board of Oswego for making it possible,” said executive director of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Beth Hilton.

In addition to The Bubble Man children will enjoy the “Power for Kids” tent.

Sponsored by Novelis, NRG, Entergy, and Constellation, the “Power for Kids” tent features a variety of children’s activities including air hops, sno-cones, and much more.

There will also be plenty of great music as Jimmy D & the Jury will perform from noon to 2:30 p.m. followed by one of Central New York’s favorites, The Billionaires from 3 to 6 p.m.

Taste of Oswego will be held Aug. 29 from noon to 6 p.m. on East Linear Park behind the Econolodge.

Admission is free, with the vendors offering $1 samples as well other menu items.
