Staff from Oswego County Opportunities individually prepared each backpack based on the needs of the student so that each youth would receive a new backpack filled with all the supplies required on their school supply list.

The backpacks were distributed at the program’s annual mentoring picnic Aug. 24.

The Fulton School Mentoring Program matches adult mentors with Fulton youth ages 8-15 and is a collaboration between Oswego County Opportunities, The Fulton Community Task Force, Catholic Charities and the Fulton School District.
