FULTON, NY – Catholic Charities of Oswego County invites families looking to stretch their back to school shopping budget to visit the agency’s Thrift Store. In an effort to raise money for its food pantry, Catholic Charities’ Thrift Store has reduced prices on almost everything in stock.
As the demand on its food pantry continues to increase, Catholic Charities is looking to raise money to re-stock the pantry’s shelves by holding a special pricing event in its thrift store. Now through Aug. 30, all clothing items at the thrift store have been reduced to 25 cents while non-clothing items have been reduced up to 50%.
“Our thrift store provides families with an affordable option for clothing, household items, furniture, and even appliances when available. This is a great opportunity for families to stretch their back to school shopping budget by getting their children the back to school clothes and other items they may be looking for while helping us feed those in need,” said Director of Emergency Services, Helen Hoefer.
Catholic Charities’ Thrift Store is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The store will be closed Aug. 31 through Sept. 6 and will re-open on Sept. 7 at 9 a.m.
