Cayuga’s Student Performance Night To Feature Art, Stories, Music

FULTON – A Student Performance Night this week at Cayuga Community College’s Fulton Campus will illustrate the diverse artistic talents of the college’s students.

The inaugural Student Performance Night on Thursday, April 25, will feature student paintings, poetic and dramatic readings, and a guitar concert by students from Adjunct Professor Jeff Sawyer’s guitar class.

Performances are scheduled for the main lobby at Cayuga’s Fulton Campus.

The Artist Reception starts at 5 p.m., with Student Readings scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and the Guitar Concert starting at 6:30 p.m.

The evening is free and open to the public.

“We’re always eager for people to see our students’ talent, and the Student Performance Night will allow our students to demonstrate their artistic, literary and musical abilities,” said Keiko Kimura, Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs/Dean of the Fulton Campus. “We’re anticipating a great event Thursday, and we’re excited to start this new tradition at our Fulton Campus.”

Cayuga faculty and staff will be present to discuss programs and other opportunities at the college with the public.
