FULTON, NY – Residents of Fulton Mill Apartments, 265 W. First St., enjoyed a special visit from the leprechauns in the CYO Mentoring Program.
Participants of the CYO Mentoring Program visited the Fulton Mill Apartments in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
Members of the CYO Mentoring Program joined the residents of Fulton Mill in creating shamrock wreaths to be displayed throughout the apartment building.
“It was a memorable day for both the children and the residents,” said coordinator of the Mentoring Program, Stacie Roberts. “I am very compassionate about developing intergenerational relationships as they strengthen individuals, families and communities. To see the residents interact with the children in our mentoring program is priceless. It was a great success and I look forward to having additional activities and events at Fulton Mill Apartments.”
The program matches elementary school children with high school students and provides them with peer support and a positive role model.
