FULTON, NY – Participants in the CYO Summer Recreation Program at Catholic Charities were treated to a special presentation by Billie Crandall-Brady, coordinator of the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board, on the importance of roadway safety.
Crandall-Brady encouraged participants to wear a helmet when bicycling and showed them the proper way to wear it.
She also spoke of the proper use of child car seats and distributed gift bags to the participants consisting of an assortment of safety related items.
The CYO Summer Recreation program is funded in part by the United Way of Greater Oswego County, the NYS Office of Children and Families and the City-County Youth Bureau of Oswego County.
