Energy Savings Program for Farm Homes and Ag Businesses

Held Thursday, March 21, 2024
4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, together with the New York State Energy and Research Development Agency (NYSERDA) and the Ag Energy NY Program, will be hosting a free in-person event for agricultural landowners to help identify ways of reducing energy costs for residential homes and farm businesses. Topics to be discussed include identifying energy efficiency improvements to help reduce utility bills, learning how to request a free energy assessment for both home and farm operations, and identifying grant & loan opportunities to help offset the cost of energy efficiency improvements. There will also be plenty of time for questions and refreshments will be included.

Guest speakers will be Gabriel Gurley, Ag Energy NY Program Manager for CCE Tompkins County, and Nick Moretti, Technical Energy Advisor for NYSERDA. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required, and seating is limited. To register, please go to thatscooperativeextension.org/events/2024/03/21/energy-savings-for-farm-home-and-business. The event will be held on Thursday, March 21st from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., in the David M. Stern building at CiTi BOCES, 179 County Route 64, Mexico, NY 13114.
