Fairgrieve Students Honored for Honesty

Honesty is the best policy at Fairgrieve Elementary School.

Twenty-five students from grades kindergarten through six were recognized during a Morning Express program at the school for exhibiting the virtue of honesty throughout the month of February.

Award recipients received a “brag tag” to add to their collection and received applause and hugs from guests who attended the ceremony to share their special moment.

The student body was also treated to a Fourth Grade Glee Club performance of “Truthfulness” by Red Grammer.

Director Hope Lawton said the song talks about honesty and how not being honest in life can catch up to people.

Students are encouraged to continue being honest at school by being sincere, open, trustworthy and truthful.
