A Halloween-themed literacy event at Fairley Elementary School recently brought families together for a morning of reading and fun.

The event, “All Hallows’ Read,” provided students with an opportunity to pick their favorite Halloween books and read with family members.
Each grade level participated in the event, which also featured doughnuts and milk for all attendees.
Principal Amy Bird noted the event was a fun way for families to read together while reinforcing the importance of literacy.
