OSWEGO – On October 21 from noon until 4 p.m., the Oswego Public Library and Penfield Library/SUNY Oswego will be offering you an opportunity to fix–it rather than toss-it.
The festival will be located in the Community Room located on the lower level of the library at 120 E. Second St.
Instead of throwing away something that’s broken, why not fix it?
The Fix It Festival will bring together people who need things repaired with “fixers” who have special skills.
Fixers will not only help with repairs but will share their knowledge, as well.
This free event will feature help with sewing (clothes, stuffed animals, etc.), small carpentry projects, crochet and knitting projects, small electrical items, book repair, computers and websites, home cleaning hacks and tips and more.
For more information regarding this program or if you wish to help as a “fixer,” please contact Sharona Ginsberg at 315-312-3544 or [email protected].
