OSWEGO, NY – One lucky winner of a raffle to take place during this year’s Harborfest will receive the opportunity to explore Dominica, dubbed the “Nature Island” of the Caribbean, and one of the ultimate destinations for eco-tourism.

Billed by the island’s tourism site as a “diver’s dream and a hiker’s paradise” and the “trailhead to adventure and discovery,” it is a gorgeous, mountainous island nation with natural hot springs, tropical rainforests, waterfalls, the world’s second largest boiling lake, volcanic peaks, and more.
There’s no better way to experience the “beauty unspoilt” and “culture preserved” of this pure gem than the 3 Rivers Eco Lodge. 3 Rivers & Rosalie Forest Eco Lodge is a small, award-winning eco lodge in a lush rainforest valley, surrounded by rivers and jungle, in natural and unspoiled eastern Dominica, offering a range of eco-friendly accommodations including charming cottages and tree houses, plus an on site restaurant and bar and game room.
The lodge also coordinates a range of community, nature and adventure activities for all. It’s a perfect getaway for the environmentally-conscious, active traveler.
