Hundreds of students, teachers and community members filled the high school auditorium for the annual event, which served as a fundraiser for the senior class trip to Boston.

In addition to raising money, the show also provided an opportunity for a diverse group of students to display their talents.

For the students who took the stage, the event wasn’t about winning the judges over by scoring the most points; rather it was focused on keeping the audience entertained.

Judges John Manion, Nikki Erkan, Brooke Fingland and Patrick Earley added to the entertainment value through their commentary and nonscientific scoring methods.

“The judges don’t choose a winner … they make up their own scoring rules and they just have fun,” said teacher Deb Doran. “It’s just a fun fundraising night.”

The show lived up to the fun expectations, with each act receiving a loud ovation from the audience. missing or outdated ad config
